We know what it’s like to lose a great therapist to a competitor, to interview a dozen candidates who don’t fit, and to pay retainers that go nowhere. We built TMR because we wanted the recruiting partner we never had. Retainers don’t deliver. We paid them as clinic owners and got burned more than once. TMR only gets paid when you successfully hire. Generalist healthcare recruiters never understood our world. TMR works exclusively with PT, OT, and SLP organizations — because that’s the world we come from. The best therapists we ever hired weren’t on Indeed — they came through referrals, school connections, and word of mouth. We built TMR to be that network. We’ve lived the credentialing, licensing, and onboarding mess. Our process accounts for it before the offer goes out — because we know what happens when it doesn’t. Built by clinic owners, for clinic owners. I ran a multi-site PT practice for years. Every recruiter I worked with wanted a retainer up front, sent me the same candidates everyone else was already seeing, and disappeared the moment the contract was signed. I started TMR to be the opposite of that. I spent years inside therapy organizations watching great clinics struggle to fill roles while the candidates they needed were sitting in alumni networks, professional communities, and referral circles the clinics couldn’t reach.
